Kathy and Johanna first crossed paths in 1997 when Kathy was living next door to Johanna’s friend. However, life took its course, and they drifted apart from their mutual social circles. In 2009, fate brought them together again through their mutual friends. On that day, both felt a spark that had never truly dimmed. Eventually, Kathy moved to Los Angeles, and she and Johanna started their life together. In 2013, they officially tied the knot, embarking on a journey filled with shared dreams and goals, including their aspiration to open a breakfast restaurant. Together, they experienced the peaks of financial success as well as challenging times, supporting each other through every twist and turn. They traveled extensively, and in 2019, they launched their first business together— a catering company that thrived. The idea of opening a restaurant resurfaced, and in 2023, they welcomed their first son, Julian Leonel Martinez, who became the light of their lives. In 2024, Johanna and Kathy, alongside Kathy’s sister Karmin, opened their restaurant, continuing their journey of love, health, and success. Through it all, their greatest joy remains being able to navigate life together as partners and family.
